lotti & Yoga
I've finally started on my pre-natal Yoga last week. I did Yoga for my last pregnancy too and totally enjoyed it. Err, but I have to admit, I have never done Yoga before in my entire life. Unless you count the one lesson I've attended with C where we caught the teacher peeping at his notes while we were supposed to breeeeathe and feel our souls! Since then, we kinda lost faith in Yoga since we figure that we can read the notes and practice ourselves too!
I choose pre-natal yoga simply because, there are very few pre-natal exercise class available. I can't swim and I don't fancy being seen in the pool with my fat legs and thighs. I've tried a Pilate's class which absolutely sucks. The whole class including me, has only 3 students and one of the student was due anytime! The room is so dirty and the service of the management there is so yaya papaya!
I went back to the same place and instructor as I really like my instructor. For some reasons, this centre is very popular with ang mohs. Usually you can only see 1-2 locals/Chinese in the class. My last class was packed full of hot, hip mamas with huge engagement rings who ate organic potato chips for snacks. This time, middle-aged expatriates and a couple of local ah sohs (not me lah!) dominate the class. But, these aunties have better stamina than me and they all obviously look so much fitter and they all have bigger tummies!! *paisei*
HH is always very amused when I show him my Yoga poses. He simply cannot imagine a room full of 大肚婆 doing the cat pose! A great sight I must say! Heeheehee! Looking forward to my class tomorrow!
